The Creative Hawkes’ Bay Invitational exhibition is almost here again. I have some work in it, under the name Liz McCready (I will be changing my name when I get married in 3 weeks time). Get your tickets from Hastings City Art Gallery if you want to come to the black tie opening on 9th April. The exhibition runs for 2 months, and entry is free after the opening event.
Craft Jam for Christchurch tonight at the Hawkes’ Bay Opera House. Come along and check it out.
I have some artwork being auctioned at the Craft Jam this time. It should be a fantastic evening, and it’s a great cause – all profits go to Christchurch Red Cross. Come along and check out the stalls and artwork next Tuesday.

An art workshop out at a bach in Waipatiki….could it get any better?
The workshops are kicking off this Saturday, starting with a screen printing workshop I will be taking. Other workshops include photography, flax weaving and drawing/print.

I am teaching vinyl-cut screen printing at a workshop at Waipatiki Beach on Saturday, so I thought I would record the UV exposure process the professionals use, to show my students how it’s done. This particular professional happens to be my fiance too.
